TAMARAL CRIANZA ORGANIC AGRICULTURE
Vintage 2019
This will be the first vintage to feature white wines with the Ribera del Duero appellation, which is another of the choral advances striving for qualitative growth in the region.
If we look at the climatological factors, the first spring frosts were a key factor, although less savage than those of 2017. This vintage came early. But according to experts, it could be one of the best harvests of the last decade.
From our vineyards located in Pesquera de Duero at an altitude of over 900 metres above sea level. Stony and chalky soil with controlled yields.
100% Tempranillo, Alcoholic volume 15%.
Harvested by hand and fermented and macerated in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 26ºC.
Aged for 14 months in French and American oak barrels.
High colour with garnet rim, clean and bright.
On the nose it is very expressive, with a high aromatic intensity and aromas of very ripe red fruits and toasted tones from the barrel ageing. In the mouth it is fleshy, round and well-structured. It has well-defined tannins. Concentrated, balanced and long.
